August Bank holiday

So what's the deal with bank holidays anyway? I appreciate the fact that it means that banks are closed, but then what? And since I have to work bank holidays anyway, it doesn't really matter. Going to try and make an effort to go out tonight anyway though, I'll feel old otherwise!

I do wish I had a camera. It's such a shame that I can't put up a picture of my hair, OR of my mini-mini skirt. I could take the easy route and ask for one as a birthday gift, but to be quite honest I'd rather get a food processor. I know this is incredibly lame, but hey, they're nice, what can I say? I also want a Playboy tracksuit, but hey, at a 100 odd quid it does feel like a bit too much. Plus grey isn't really my colour.

Other than that I'm SO looking forward to the 15th of September, when I'll be going back to Sweden for a visit. I'll try to see as many people as possible, but I also want to take some time with my lovely parents, as I haven't seen my dad for a year, and my sweet mum will be recovering from surgery at the time. of course I'll be going to Tech Noir on the 17th, so if not before at least I hope to meet most of you there!

I am so ashamed of myself!

I feel quite bad I have to admit. It has been absolutely ages since I wrote anything, even though I actually have news galore to report. Or well, news is such a stupid thing to call it, but parties and events and hair aniways!

So, I went to Glade. It was weird and wonderful and I immediately wanted to move there. I would assume that the festival area might be a rather dull place to live at when the festival is actually over, but you get the point. I just want to be in a place where I can get nice music, sweet people, and huge areas decorated with UV reactive mushrooms...

Also got very inspired be the people at Glade, so I have now had wool braided into my hair. The wool is felted to look like dreads (they turned out pretty thick), but the yarn is actually looking quite cool as it is. It's from a Welsh company called
Colinette, and it's called point five. I got it in the colour fire, so it's a mix of orange-pink-red hues. The wool is hot pink, bright red and purple, so it's quite colourful!
