Friday afternoon and the only noise in the office is people taking the wrap of their candy bars... I.e. no calls =) Anyhow, I'm not complaining. Just sorted some music out for the journey home, but mostly I'm just excited, since we're getting the key to our new pad today. If someone finds it in their heart to donate a digicam to me, I promise I'll take pictures of the place. And the skirt, ehrm *pleeeeease* =P

Other than that, I just bought a new book yesterday, a collection of five of Philip K Dick's novels, including Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, of course. (I'm only mentioning it since that's usually the only one of his books that people know. or at least they know Bladerunner...)

Cities of the future

The future always seemed like such a cool thing, don't you agree ? We were gonna have hover cars and holiday resorts on the moon! WTF happened to that? I am SO disappointed! I want my money back, a full refund I want.

Here I've been waiting. I've put up with the Spice Girls, puffy skirts, permed hair, grunge, and all that crap, just to be there when THE FUTURE arrives. But what is my reward? I made it past Y2K, but everything didn't go chrome overnight... I was willing to give it some time, you know not everything will happen just like that, but hey, it's been 5 years now!

I want hover crafts, I want biotech implants, I want a highly nutritious pill that will supply all my dietary needs and I want designer drugs! 2005, and we're still doing LSD... HELLO?!?

Eyy... what can I say? Turned out my housemate was as nervous as me about the talk, since he wants to move in with his gf.. so basically he's very happy that I will be looking for a new place...

So, no more excuses to smoke then, have to stick to my coffee as usual. I'm sure that it will all be better in the future, with hover cars, designer drugs and bio computers. But more on that later!

Tantric Sex, anyone?

Just a note for all you boys out there. Sex that doesn't last longer than the blink of an eye is not ideal, but... And this is a but(t) the size of J.Lo's... Sex that goes on for hours will NOT automatically be a good thing! And if your girlfriend gets that distant look in her eyes, and then all of a sudden has an orgasm, she is probably just faking it out of pure pity. We like to have enough time to relax and get excited, but we do no, and I repeat, NOT, want a "nine hour marathon"/blistering. =P

updates schmupdates

The afternoon is sloooowly passing by, had my lunch but still have a headache and a weird stomach. Sort of fearing/looking forward to coming home, so that I can have a chat with my housemate and ask him what he means with 'developments with the house'. And tell him that I want to move out. It's always tricky to move house when you're living like this, since you never know if you will have a new place to go to, I mean how can i pay the deposit when I don't know what my housemate will say about how much notice he needs? Only twelve days to pay day now, hopefully I will be able to arrange something.

Woke up in the middle of the night when my housemate and his gf came back from Morrocco. So I'm a bit tired today, again. Only two cups of coffee so far =) Anywhoo, I have to speak to him later today, which freaks me out a bit. But when all that is sorted I can finally relax and hopefully enjoy the upcoming weekend. Have bought a fab new skirt (some people might refer to it as a belt...) and just need to find some shoes to wear with it.

I do wonder.. Like, why is it so hard to find nice shoes that you can wear with a short skirt, that are also affordable and doesn't make you break a leg when you go dancing? I love my Buffalos, but with a short skirt it's just.. tacky... I dunno. I've seen quite a few nice shoes in Camden, but come on, I'm not made of money. Esp. not now when i want to get a flat. Grrr!

Boooring!

So.. just little over an hour left now. Then I'm gonna rock off home, jump into a hot shower, clean up my filthy carpet and the rest of my room, and then just CHILL! Would be just in time for Simpsons on Sky One I reckon..

So... There's something about Tuesdays, and I'm not fully convinced it's a good thing. You're not well rested since you partied all weekend, and Monday was stressful, not giving you any chance to chill. Also, it's aaaages until next weekend, so there's no end to the week, it seems.

For some reason, Tuesdays always appear very dull to me. It's a bit like February or March(don't ask..), and this Tuesday isn't any different it seems. I've even had a cigarette out of pure boredom, and my stomach is just totally fucked up. =(
